Wie ihr vielleicht bereits schon wisst, habe ich eine Zeit lang während meines Studiums in London gelebt. In dieser Zeit hat sich die Stadt zu meiner absoluten Lieblingsstadt entwickelt. Hier ist mein Herz für immer hängen geblieben und ich träume jede Sekunde von ihr. Mindestens 1mal pro Jahr zieht es mich hier her... am liebsten für immer.

London ist das Paradies: eine Modestadt mit Flair, Kultur, Geschichte und den freundlichsten Menschen. Hier ist jeder willkommen, ob arm oder reich, jung oder alt. Die Nationalität spielt  keine Rolle. Multi-Kulti, wie man so schön sagt. Und das spiegelt sich vor allen Dingen im Bereich der Mode wieder: ausgeflippt, exquisit, High Fashion und Streetstyle... es ist alles erlaubt!

Sich eine Nacht wie eine Adelige fühlen. Ein Ereignis erleben wie im Märchen von 1001 Nacht. Als würde sich die Welt nur um dich drehen. Genauso durfte ich mich während meines Aufenthaltes im traumhaften 5* "St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel" mitten im Herzen Londons, direkt am St. Pancras Hauptbahnhof, fühlen. http://www.stpancraslondon.com/

Dieses atemberaubend schöne Hotel, welches zur Mariott-Gruppe gehört, ist ein ehemaliger Bestandteil des im viktorianisch-gothischen Stil errichteten Bahnhofs. Hier wurden bereits weltweit bekannte Filme gedreht, u.a. "Batman Begins" und "Harry Potter" (mehrere Teile).
Die Meter hohen Wände, die Wandmalereien und Teppiche und das Ganze drum herum lassen das Hotel wirken, als befände man sich in einem riesen großen Schloss.
Viele von euch werden das Hotel von innen wieder erkennen: hier wurde das Video der Spice Girls zu "Wannabe" gedreht.
Die Junior-Suite auf dem Gang der "Chambers Rooms" (Exklusiv-Gäste) beinhaltete absolut alles, um sich wie eine Prinzessin zu fühlen. Vom King-Size Bett, über Meter hohe Wände, warme Farben und die liebevollsten Details bis hin zum Marmorbad, das absolut alles enthielt. Zahnpflege, Rasiermittel, Hygieneartikel und unzählige Handtücher. Hier muss man nichts anderes mitbringen als Kleider. Einfach alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, ohne Ausnahme. Und wenn es an etwas hakt ist der Zimmer-Service sofort zur Stelle.
Der Zugang zum sogenannten "Chambers Club" war eines der i-Tüpfelchen. Ein abgesperrter exklusiver Bereich mit feinstem Frühstück, Mittagessen, Tea Time und leichte Verkostung am Abend, sowie alkoholfreie und alkoholische Getränke (alles im Zimmerpreis enthalten). Zusätzlich hat man die Möglichkeit 24h lang Mahlzeiten auf das Zimmer zu bestellen.
Der Spa-Bereich beinhaltet alles um sich perfekt verwöhnen zu lassen. Vom Pool, bis hin zur Sauna und Spa-Anwendungen ist alles möglich (auch preistechnisch).
Die Geschichte dieses fantastischen Gebäudes beginnt 1873 mit dem Architekten Sir George Gilbert Scott. Es ist heute noch bekannt als die "Cathedral of Railways St. Pancras". Touristen wohin das Auge reicht. Sie begutachten das atemberaubende Kunstwerk.

 St. Pancras ist ein Stadtteil Londons, welches immer mehr an Beliebtheit gewinnt. Die Modeszene wandert langsam in diesen Stadtteil ab und während der London Fashion Week finden mittlerweile sehr viele Shows in diesem Bezirk statt.

 Zugegeben, das Hotel ist preislich sehr weit oben angesetzt. Jedoch ist es jeden Penny alle mal wert hier einen Stop einzulegen. Und ohne Chambers-Club und Suite, in einem "einfachen" und trotzdem wunderschönen Superior Doppelzimmer bezahlbar. Und für all die jenen, die sich einfach nur mal von dem Flair beeindrucken lassen wollen, es werden Führungen durch das Hotel für 20 Pfund angeboten.

 Und wer grad nicht in London ist, die Renaissance Hotelkette gibt es auch in einigen anderen Ländern, in Deutschland bspw. in Bochum, Düsseldorf und Hamburg.

 Ich bin unendlich dankbar und glücklich über diese Erfahrungen und diesen Aufenthalt. Es war ein traumhaftes Erlebnis!

As you may know, I already lived in London during my studies. It was the reason why this city has become my favorite city. Here my heart has remained forever and I’m dreaming every second of it. Especially about living there for a while.London is a paradise: a fashion city with flair, culture, history and the friendliest people. Everyone is welcome, whether rich or poor, young or old. The nationality doesn’t matter. Multicultural, as the saying goes. And that is reflected above all in fashion: freaky, exquisite, high fashion and street style ... it's all welcome!
Feeling one night like a monarch. An experience as in 1001 Nights. As the world would only rotate around you. This amazing hotel, which is part of the Marriott group, is a former part of the train station, built in victorian gothic architecture. Here were already filmed world famous movies like "Batman Begins" and "Harry Potter".The meter-high walls, murals, carpets and the whole thing around it makes it seem like it must be a huge castle. Many of you will recognize the hotel from the inside: the music clip of Spice Girls to "Wannabe" was also filmed in this building.
The Junior Suite as a part of the "Chambers Rooms" (for exclusive guests) absolutely included everything to feel like a princess. From king-size bed, over meter-high walls, warm colors and lovely details up to the marble bathrooms, which contain everything. Dental care, shaving, hygiene articles and countless towels. Here you have to bring nothing but clothes. Simply everything you need is available, without exception. And if you may need something else, the room service will be there for you immediately.Access to the "Chambers Club" was one of the icing on the cake. An exclusive area with finest breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and light tasting dinner, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (all included in the room). In addition, you have the possibility to order meal 24 hours a day to your room. The spa area includes everything to pamper yourself perfectly. From the pool, to the sauna and spa treatments, anything is possible.
The history of this fabulous building starts in 1873 with the architect Sir George Gilbert Scott. It ‘s still known as the "Cathedral of Railways St. Pancras". Tourists wherever you look. They’re admiring the stunning artwork.
St. Pancras is a district of London, which is gaining in popularity. The fashion scene slowly moves to this area and during the London Fashion Week there are many shows taking part in this district.Declaredly, the hotel price is set high. However, it's worth it every penny to insert a stop. And  without Chambers club and suite, in a "simple" and yet beautiful Superior Double Room also affordable. And for all those who just want to get impressed of the atmosphere, it will be offered a guided tour. Price: 20 pounds.
And who is not yet in London, the Renaissance Hotel chain has also ressorts in some other countries. In Germany there is one in Bochum, Dusseldorf and Hamburg.
I’m deeply grateful and happy about this experience and stay. It was fantastic!!
